As indicated in the last post we didn't get underway until 10:45 after our minor repairs. Here are photos of the morning on the river as viewed from the dock and the bridge that broke our antennas.
Lock E-23 (6.9’ drop): This is our last lock on the Erie Canal. Locked through with Ila Rose and one other boat.
We are done on the Erie Canal
Now entering the Oswego River and Canal System. I found the Oswego River to be much prettier than the Erie. There are more homes, town, water activities including fishing which we didn’t see on the Erie. The Erie was catch and release only due to contaminations in the water.
Lock O-1 (10.2’ drop)
Lock O-2 (17.8’ drop)
Lock O-3 (27’ drop)
No Lock O-4
Lock O-5 (18’ drop)
