Hear It From Us
What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For us, it is experiencing the American Great Loop.
We are both current and active United States Coast Guard Auxiliarist. Glen for 11 years and Lynda for 6 years. We both hold leadership positions and have many hours of on-water and classroom training in boating safety and operations.
As current owners, operators and Captain/Crew of Great Lakes Custom Cruising, LLC and Saunter past, a Nordic Tug 37 we've had a lot of on water boating experience with the dream of completing the Loop in the future. With Saunter being upgraded to an American Tug 41, now is the time to get underway.
We are excited for the new experiences, new people we will meet, new places we will see as we stop to visit or slowly saunter by. But why experience it alone? Follow us here on our journey and maybe someday you will make your own journey along America's Great Loop
We will post photos and comments of our many, many stops (legs), as well as, links to some of the best places we encounter along the way. Oh, and I'm sure you will see just a few photos of our dogs, Lainie and Shelby as they might also have a few things to say about this trip.
